 Kochani, Jak zapewne pamiętacie dwa lata temu nawiązaliśmy współpracę z Mariną i prowadzonym przez nią schroniskiem w Dnieprze w Ukrainie. Stamtąd przyjechały do nas Mira, Rita, Tiffany i Galinka. Aktualnie na umówiony transport do domu tymczasowego czeka po tamtej stronie granicy ruda pitbulka z połamaną łapką, o której informowaliśmy niedawno. Tymczasem świat staje w obliczu niewyobrażalnego. Rozpętany przez Rosję konflikt zbrojny dotyka i przeraża nas wszystkich. W tak mrocznym i niepewnym czasie nadal są jednak tacy, którzy pamiętają o tysiącach ukraińskich zwierząt, z których wiele ucierpi nie tylko wskutek bezpośrednich ataków, ale poprzez porzucenia, brak opieki, panikę wywołaną chaosem. Tym właśnie czworonogom stara się pomóc Marina, która wraz ze swoimi pomocnikami pozostała na miejscu i działa. Sytuacja jest bardzo trudna. Schronisko znajduje się zaledwie 10 km od ostrzelanego lotniska. Ceny produktów szybują w góry, wkrótce mogą się rozpocząć problemy z zaopatrzeniem. From there we took: Mira, Rita, Tiffany and Galinka. Currently, a young pitbull girl with a broken leg is waiting on the other side of the border for arranged transport to Poland. We’ve been informing you about it recently in our post and we’ve also found great people who will give her a foster home. Meanwhile, the world faces an unimaginable situation. The armed conflict started by Russia affects and terrifies us all. However, in such a dark and uncertain time, there are people who don’t forget about thousands of Ukrainian animals. Many of them will suffer not only from attacks, but also from abandonment, lack of care, panic caused by chaos. Marina and her helpers remained in place with her pupils and are working as usual. The situation there is very difficult on a daily basis but currently is getting simply tragic. The shelter is located just 10 km from the bombed airport. All products are getting more expensive and very soon we expect problems with supplies. Therefore, it’s very important to collect as quickly as possible the supplies for over 700 dogs and 200 cats currently remaining in shelter and also for those which will surely be picked up from the streets soon.
